Glass fiber Reinforced Plastic (GRP) is a type of reinforced plastic that is made out of glass fibers. Glass fiber is a substance manufactured from extremely small glass particles. This product is increasingly employed in insulation and woven fabrics, as well as in the manufacture of polymers as reinforcement. GRP, sometimes known as fiberglass, is a type of composite material. Various technologies are used to convert glass fiber into GRP goods utilizing polyester resin or vinyl ester resin (laying by hand, SMC, BMC, RTM, winding processes or infusion processes). The infusion method involves the liquefaction of glass pieces and their subsequent dispersion through small pores. Because of its high insulating properties, GRP is commonly utilized as an insulation material.
